Alicia Silverstone, born October 4, 1976 to Monty Silverstone & Deidre Radiford in Hillsborough California. She has half-siblings in her father's previous marriage. She is typical of the upper middle class background and was raised living in San Francisco. Silverstone began modeling at the age of six after which she starred in her first television commercial to promote Domino's Pizza. Silverstone attended Crocker Middle and San Mateo High Schools. In 1992, she played her first role credited for her performance in The Wonder Years. The show was awe-inspiring by both the critics and audience and she received an award for the role.
