She was a part of the films The Baby-Sitters Club (1995), She's All That (1999), and Josie and the Pussycats (2001), and in the television series Into the West and Perception. She also is the voice for several characters in Robot Chicken and Tifa Lockhart in the Final Fantasy series, starting with the English version of the film Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children.Rachael Leigh Cook was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota, the daughter of Thomas Howard Cook, a social worker and former stand-up comedian, and JoAnn Cook, a chef and weaver. The actress is half-Italian. Cook was first seen for the first time in a public service advertisement for foster care when she was seven years old. Her career began as an unassuming child model at the age of 10, appearing in national commercials for Target and on Milk-Bone's dog biscuits. She attended Clara Barton Open School and Laurel Springs School. She also attended Minneapolis South High School.
