Chaka Khan

Chaka Khan is a famous American musician and singer. She's also known by her most well-known nickname, Queen of Funk. In her long career of more than 50 years she was awarded 10 Grammys. Billboard declared her to be the 65th most accomplished dancer ever. Her grandmother introduced her to jazz as an infant. When she first started her career she performed with various bands. Then, in the near future she joined of the band Rufus. As part of the group, she recorded her first record at age twenty. One year later, the group received their debut Grammy. In the following years, she released her first album as solo artist. In the following years, she issued a series of albums, including 'Echoes of an Era,' 'The Woman I Am,' and Funk This. Apart from her work in music, she has also gained reputation through her charitable work. Chaka Khan Foundation was established in order to aid children from low-income families as well as people who suffer from autism. Khan is also an actor on occasions. She played in the role of Sister Carrie, from the show "Mama, I Want to Sing." Chaka Chaka Chaka
