Kari Wuhrer was born the 28th of April the 28th of April, 1967. She is an American musician and actor. Wuhrer started her career when she was a teenager. Her most well-known role is for her character Maggie Beckett on the TV series Sliders, as well as in the role of the character of Sheriff Samantha Parker, in the horror-comedy movie Eight Legged Freaks. Wuhrer was raised in Brookfield Connecticut as her mother was Karin Noble, who worked as a pay clerk as well as German American Andrew Wuhrer. She is the mother of three sisters and brothers. The singer was in her teens who performed in clubs and hid from her family for the sake of performing. When she began studying acting at Wooster School at 13 years old, she was a drama student at the New York University's Tisch School of the Arts in Marymount Manhattan College and Columbia University. Then, she took classes at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts under the renowned Uta Hagen. Her birthplace was in Brookfield Connecticut on April 28 She was raised in the town. She is the daughter an American-born father from Germany and a German-American mother. Kari was born into an extended family that included four members. When she was in her teens, she performed in nightclubs by slipping away to do so. When she was 13 years old, Kari studied acting at the Wooster School. She then began her studies in drama at Tisch School of the Arts located at New York University, Columbia University, Marymount Manhattan College and the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art and renowned instructor Uta Hagen. Kari started acting when she was an teen, and her first TV appearance was on 1987's MTV's Remote Control.
