Angela Sun

Angela Sun (born October 19 1979 in Santa Clara county in California) is an American journalist, presenter on television and sportscaster. Angela Sun is a multi-award winner journalist, sportscaster, and producer. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Communication and Sociology from the University of California. Sun was a pro at surfing and participated in several Pro-Am Surf competitions that led to her getting sponsorships from major brands such as Roxy Reef Billabong Vans etc. Recognition of these surfing events was like rocket fuel that helped her get into the entertainment industry. In the following years, she was an actor, sportscaster, investigational journalist, and film-director. Sun was anchor of news for various channels. In 2003, Sun worked as reporter for Fox Sports Net reporter. She has also hosted American Ninja Warrior alongside Matt Iseman and Jonny Moseley in 2012. Sun was host of The Yahoo Sports Minute during the year 2014. She was also the first Asian American celebrity to appear at ESPN Fox Sports Yahoo Sports Tennis Channel. Sun was a part of a number of films and her abilities as an actor have been acknowledged and appreciated. Sun was in films like Goliath (2016), The Floor (2014-2016), Floor(2014-2016) The Perfect Getaway(2009) Shackled (2005), Street Kings (2008), and Glowsticks and Drumsticks (2004). In 2014, Sun released Platic Paradise: The Great Pacific Garbage Patch an feature-length documentary about marine pollution caused by plastic and the impact it has on the ecosystem. Sun wrote, directed and produced herself.
