Dua Lipa is an English singer and songwriter who was born on August 22 1995 within London United Kingdom. After working as a fashion model, she decided to join Warner Bros Records and release her debut album titled "Dua Lipa" in the year 2017. The album reached 3rd place in the U.K. Albums Chart and produced eight singles, including Be the One I.D.G.A.F as well as the U.K. top-ranked song New Rules which peaked at number six within the United States. Lipa received the Brit Awards in 2018 for British Female Solo Artist, and British Breakthrough Act and her album has been certified as platinum across several countries around the world. Dua Lipa, who was born to Kosovo Albanian parents Anesa A Rexha Lipa and Dukagjin Dukagjin in London Born on August 22, 1995. Through her maternal grandmother, she is of Bosnian ancestry. There is also a trace of Lipa's family tree back to Peja from Kosovo. Her grandfathers were historians as well. Gjin as well as Rina are her sisters. Lipa was influenced musically by her father, who is also the lead guitarist and singer for the Kosovan group Oda.
